Hangzhou-based ATG Brands has acquired the intellectual property rights to Lowe Alpine, a rucksack manufacturer previously owned by UK outdoor clothing specialist Equip. The transaction, which includes the Lowe Alpine trademark, logo, and related brand assets, was finalized for an undisclosed sum.

The deal does not encompass Lowe Alpine’s physical inventory, dedicated workforce, or operating facilities. According to Mr. Gearing, operating partner of Lowe Alpine Europe, the company remains focused on producing reliable, thoughtfully designed outdoor gear for enthusiasts.

ATG Brands’ acquisition reflects its strategy to expand its portfolio in the outdoor equipment sector by leveraging the established reputation of Lowe Alpine. The terms and impact of the transaction on local operations or existing staff have not been detailed.
