Russian strikes across multiple regions of Ukraine on Saturday resulted in the deaths of at least twelve civilians and numerous injuries, local officials reported. The attacks targeted industrial facilities, residential buildings, and commercial centers, causing significant damage.

In southern Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian missile strikes hit an industrial site, killing five employees, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional military administration. The victims included a locksmith, an electrician, a plumber, and a machinist—civilians who were reportedly carrying out their work shifts at the time of the attack. Hanzha also reported additional damage in the Nikopol district, where a 62-year-old man was wounded and several homes and an apartment complex sustained harm.

Russia’s Ministry of Defense said it conducted strikes against two metallurgical plants in the Dnipropetrovsk region, describing them as significant suppliers of metal products for Ukraine’s military industry.

In Ukraine’s eastern Kharkiv region, a Russian drone strike destroyed a residence in the city of Chuhuiv, killing three people and wounding a 40-year-old woman, Oleh Syniehubov, the regional head, confirmed. The deceased included a 19-year-old woman, an 11-year-old boy, and a 45-year-old man. The attack also caused fires at the residential property and nearby structures, with emergency responders still searching for potential further casualties.

Further west, in the Bucha district near Kyiv, a drone strike resulted in two deaths and one injury, regional officials said. Earlier on Saturday, Tymur Tkachenko, head of Kyiv’s regional military administration, stated two additional civilians were wounded in overnight strikes. Tkachenko reported damage to 28 facilities across five districts in the Kyiv region, affecting private residences, apartment buildings, warehouses, railway infrastructure, agricultural property, and vehicles.

The southern Mykolaiv region also experienced repeated drone attacks on a shopping center during the night. Ukraine’s state emergency services reported damage to retail premises and fires caused by the strikes. Two civilians, a 72-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl, were injured. Emergency crews faced challenges responding to the incidents, having to withdraw multiple times due to ongoing threats before resuming firefighting efforts.

Ukraine’s air force stated that Russian forces launched ballistic missiles from Russia’s Rostov and Voronezh regions and deployed approximately 167 attack drones overnight.

In a related development, Russian authorities in the Belgorod region, located along the border with Ukraine, reported Ukrainian attacks killing two people and wounding three others on Saturday.

The recent wave of strikes highlights the ongoing intensity of hostilities across multiple fronts in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with attacks targeting both military-related infrastructure and civilian areas.
