Rylan Clark has expressed his support for Emma Willis following her appointment as the new host of the BBC’s "Strictly Come Dancing." Clark, who previously hosted the show’s companion programme "It Takes Two" for four years, congratulated Willis on her new role and praised her work alongside co-hosts Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe.
In a recent interview, Clark described his long-standing connection to "Strictly Come Dancing," noting that the show remains an important part of his career. Although he did not secure a position in the current presenting lineup, he said he continues to enjoy watching the programme and hopes it remains successful.
In addition to discussing his views on the show, Clark highlighted his involvement in a promotional campaign with M&M’s tied to Halloween. He has been surprising cinema attendees at Vue locations by delivering playful scares before handing out free movie tickets. Clark recounted hiding in various spots, including a photo booth, sofa, and ticket machine, to startle unsuspecting patrons. He described one particular group’s reaction as “over the top,” noting that even after revealing himself, his appearance—which he referred to as “the teeth”—continued to unnerve them.
Clark’s comments reflect both his enthusiasm for Willis’s new role and his ongoing engagement in entertainment-related activities beyond television presenting.
