Sale hooker Nathan Jibulu has signed a contract extension to remain with the Gallagher Premiership club until 2030. The 23-year-old, who joined Sale from Harlequins last summer, had one year left on his original deal before agreeing to the new long-term commitment.

Jibulu, born in London, has made a notable impact since moving to Manchester, earning a call-up to an England training squad in June. Reflecting on his first season at Sale, he acknowledged that while the team’s overall results did not meet expectations, the experience gained by younger players and the positive atmosphere around the squad were important factors in his decision to stay.

“We know the season didn’t go as we wanted, but the atmosphere has been really good,” Jibulu said. “So many young lads got a lot of experience in big games. With the signings we’ve made this season, we’re building a squad that can win titles, and I want to be a part of that.”

Sale Rugby Club is aiming to strengthen its squad and competitiveness in the Premiership, and Jibulu’s extension signals confidence in the club’s direction and his role within the team moving forward.
