Since then, Hopewell Rock’s training sessions have gone very well, leaving the horse in excellent condition. The ride will be entrusted to jockey Ryan Moore, adding further confidence to his chances. Hopewell Rock’s participation is particularly noteworthy for Wathnan Racing, marking a significant presence at a major racing festival.

Over at Newmarket, the 3:23 p.m. race features Tryst, whom Boughey identifies as the standout contender of the weekend. Described as well-handicapped, Tryst has impressed during recent training at the stable. The horse benefited from a favorable ride and suitable trip in the previous race under jockey Billy Loughnane. Although facing an increase in weight, the stable remains hopeful that Tryst will effectively meet the new challenge and continue to perform strongly.

Meanwhile, at Thirsk, Asuka is making his debut in handicap company in the 3:47 p.m. contest. Recently losing his apprentice claim, jockey Jack Callan will take the reins. Asuka earned an impressive victory in his last start, and the seven-furlong distance is expected to be a good fit for the horse as he seeks further success in more competitive company.
