Saud Bahwan Automotive LLC has been honoured for the second consecutive year at the Excellence and Leadership Awards held during Labour Forum 2026, organised by Oman’s Ministry of Labour. The event, conducted under the theme “A Nation’s Vision... Empowerment and Growth,” recognises organisations excelling in national workforce development and human capital practices.
The award acknowledges Saud Bahwan Automotive’s significant contributions to empowering Omani talent through advancing Omanisation and localising jobs. The company has created career opportunities for Omani nationals in leadership, managerial, technical, and specialised roles, reflecting its commitment to developing the national workforce.
Labour Forum 2026 was organised by the Ministry of Labour in partnership with international and regional entities including the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Arab Labour Organisation (ALO), the Executive Bureau of the GCC Ministers of Labour and Social Affairs, and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation (ARADO). The forum aims to highlight organisations demonstrating excellence in adopting workforce localisation and human capital development strategies.
This latest recognition follows Saud Bahwan Automotive’s similar distinction last year in Kuwait, marking two consecutive years of acknowledgement for its Omanisation efforts. The sustained success underscores the company’s long-term approach to embedding workforce localisation as a core institutional philosophy and strategic investment rather than a temporary corporate target.
