Saudi citizens are now eligible to apply for the United States Global Entry program, which offers expedited immigration processing for pre-approved, low-risk travelers arriving at US airports. This development was announced on October 28, 2026, by both the Saudi Embassy and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, highlighting it as a significant advancement in the bilateral relationship between Saudi Arabia and the United States.

The Global Entry program, administered by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), allows approved members to use dedicated lanes at US ports of entry, reducing wait times during arrival processing. Additionally, Global Entry members qualify for TSA PreCheck benefits, which streamline security screening at participating US airports. Saudi citizens can manage their membership and schedule enrollment interviews through the Trusted Traveler mobile application.

Officials from both countries emphasize that the inclusion of Saudi citizens in the program underscores deepening trust and cooperation on security, border management, and travel facilitation. The Saudi Embassy described the new arrangement as a tangible reflection of the longstanding strategic partnership and a step toward strengthening people-to-people ties, enhancing educational, cultural, commercial, and professional exchanges.
