The International Dates Council took part in SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world’s leading food industry exhibitions, held in the French capital from October 17 to 21. The council joined the National Center for Palms and Dates pavilion to highlight the quality and variety of dates produced by its 17 member states.

The participation aimed to foster relationships with importers, distributors, and other food industry professionals while seeking new commercial partnerships and opportunities to enter global markets. As part of the exhibition, the council collaborated with Madinah Dates to offer samples of Ajwa dates, a notable variety from Saudi Arabia. Visitors were also provided with information on the fruit’s nutritional benefits and its historical significance.

SIAL Paris is recognized as a key event in the international food sector, featuring nearly 8,000 exhibitors and attracting around 295,000 professionals representing approximately 200 countries in 2026. The exhibition serves as a platform for producers, buyers, and importers to establish business contacts and stay informed about the latest global food trends and innovations.
