Kuwait’s Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received an official invitation on Monday from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to participate in the second European Union–Gulf Cooperation Council (EU-GCC) Summit. The event is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on October 24. The invitation was delivered by Saudi Ambassador to Kuwait Sultan bin Saad Al-Saud.

The summit aims to strengthen cooperation between the EU and GCC member states on political, economic, and security issues of mutual concern. This meeting marks the second high-level summit following the inaugural EU-GCC summit, underscoring ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two regional blocs.
