In corporate earnings announcements, Emaar, the Economic City, reported a net loss of 441 million riyals for the first nine months of 2026, marking a 26 percent increase compared with the same period last year. The company attributed the wider loss primarily to a decrease in revenue and a rise in legal provisions. Emaar’s 2025 results had been positively impacted by a one-time gain from reduced long-term financing costs following a successful debt restructuring. Shares in Emaar closed down 4.65 percent at 8.10 riyals.

Meanwhile, Amlak International Finance Co. disclosed a net profit of 56.8 million riyals for the first nine months of 2026, up 14.75 percent year-on-year. The improvement was driven by higher income from special commissions on finance and lower financing costs, partially offset by increased operating expenses and provisions for expected credit losses. Amlak’s shares edged up 0.24 percent to close at 8.33 riyals.
