Students in public schools across Saudi Arabia, with the exception of those in the Makkah and Madinah regions, will begin their second semester final examinations on Sunday, marking the conclusion of the academic year. The final exams for schools located in Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif are scheduled to start one week later, on June 21.
An estimated six and a half million male and female students in public schools nationwide are currently preparing for these final assessments. Following the exams, schools will officially enter the summer vacation period.
The summer break for educational institutions under the jurisdictions of Makkah, Madinah, Jeddah, and Taif will commence at the close of the school day on July 2. In contrast, the vacation period for schools in all other regions across the Kingdom is set to begin earlier, at the end of the school day on June 25. These dates mark the end of the academic year and the beginning of the annual summer recess for students and staff throughout the country.
