Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing on February 1 from her home in Tucson, Arizona. The case has prompted a lengthy investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities released surveillance footage showing an individual wearing a ski mask and carrying a backpack near Nancy Guthrie’s front door on the night she vanished. Additionally, blood was discovered at the doorstep, raising concerns about foul play.

During the investigation, a local television station received two ransom notes: one claiming that Nancy Guthrie had died, and the other demanding millions of dollars in bitcoin for her release. TMZ also reported receiving one of the notes. Before her disappearance, Nancy Guthrie required daily medication to manage high blood pressure and cardiac issues.
