St Andrews has been ranked among the top seaside destinations in the United Kingdom, according to an annual survey conducted by Which?. In the latest poll, more than 5,300 holidaymakers evaluated their experiences, placing St Andrews third overall.

The survey named Bamburgh in Northumberland as the leading seaside town, achieving an overall satisfaction score of 84 percent. Following closely behind, Tynemouth secured second place, while Crail in Fife also featured prominently within the top 10 rankings.

Rory Boland, editor of Which? Travel, highlighted the diversity of the UK’s coastal appeal, noting that the results demonstrate the presence of notable seaside towns throughout the country. The rankings reflect various factors valued by visitors, including local attractions, amenities, and general visitor experience.
