Muscat hosted a seminar on Tuesday organized by the Command of the Sultan’s Armed Forces focusing on national integration between military, security services, and civilian sectors amid ongoing geopolitical and technological changes. The event took place at Al Shafaq Club of the Sultan’s Armed Forces and was held under the patronage of Dr. Hamed bin Mohammed al Dhawyani, Chairman of the National Records and Archives Authority.

The seminar aimed to explore strategies for strengthening Oman’s comprehensive national security system and its alignment with broader national policies. Discussions included analyses of international best practices in national integration, with emphasis on extracting lessons relevant to the Sultanate’s specific needs and context.

Attendees included representatives from the Ministry of Defence, the Sultan’s Armed Forces, military and security agencies, as well as figures from civilian institutions and the private sector. The diverse participation highlighted the seminar’s focus on fostering cross-sector partnerships and coordination to effectively respond to evolving geopolitical dynamics and technological advancements.

By addressing the interplay between security forces and civilian entities, the seminar sought to promote a unified approach to safeguarding Oman’s national interests amid shifting regional and global landscapes.
