Simon Levy, 40, stands accused of a series of sex attacks on the London Underground, as well as the rape and murder of two women, a court heard. The Old Bailey was told that Levy allegedly sexually assaulted ten women between October 2023 and May 2025 while travelling on the Tube, all during a period when he was under supervision by probation and violent sex offender monitoring teams.

Levy is charged with murdering Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, 53, in a disused block of flats in Southwark on March 17, 2023, and the death of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, whose body was found behind a wall in a car park in Tottenham on August 24 of the same year. Wilkins was discovered near the scene of one of Levy’s earlier alleged attacks, close to his residence. Both women suffered extensive injuries, with Wilkins sustaining 83 separate wounds including trauma to her face, head, upper body, arms, and legs.

According to court records, Levy’s attacks on the Tube formed part of a wider pattern of predatory sexual violence dating back to 2018. He was first convicted in September 2021 for a sexual assault committed in July 2018 after following a woman in Camden and inappropriately touching her. He was also convicted of assault by penetration after attacking a woman he encountered on the Tube near the Notting Hill Carnival. In total, Levy is accused of committing 13 sexual assaults between 2018 and 2025.

The prosecution described Levy as a "predatory sexual attacker" who, in January 2023, raped and suffocated a sex worker, leaving her for dead. When police arrested Levy on April 1, 2023, they found thousands of newspaper clippings about notorious criminals such as John Worboys, Jeffrey Epstein, and Harvey Weinstein at his home. Officers also seized folders labeled “my sex record” and various documents related to sexual positions, chat-up lines, and prostitutes.

Levy has pleaded not guilty to charges including murder, rape, grievous bodily harm with intent, and non-fatal suffocation. At the hearing, he declined to comment when questioned about the death of Valencia-Trujillo. The trial is ongoing.
