Seven men were arrested following a stabbing incident on Bromley High Street in south-east London on Friday afternoon, police said. Officers responded to reports of an altercation at approximately 2:15 p.m. and found four men with stab wounds at the scene.

Emergency services including the London Ambulance Service and London’s air ambulance were dispatched to the location. Paramedics treated the victims onsite before transporting all four to hospital. Authorities reported that three of the patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while one remains in critical condition.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that the seven men arrested in connection with the incident remain in custody as inquiries continue. Officials stated there is no indication of any wider threat to public safety. A section of Bromley High Street was cordoned off during the police response, impacting local foot traffic and public transport, with about 15 bus routes diverted.

Bromley and Biggin Hill MP Peter Fortune acknowledged the incident, noting residents’ safety concerns and stating he would maintain close communication with law enforcement as the investigation progresses.

Authorities have urged anyone with information related to the stabbing to contact the police. The area remains under increased police presence as investigations continue.
