Seven individuals have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of a newborn baby girl found dead in Sheffield. Police responded to an address on Holywell Heights in the Wincobank area shortly before 6 a.m. on Saturday after receiving concerns for the welfare of an infant.

Upon arrival, officers searched the property and found the baby. Despite efforts by paramedics, the newborn was pronounced dead at the scene. South Yorkshire Police launched an investigation and detained seven people in connection with the case; all remain in police custody.
