Seven students from Gordonstoun School in Moray successfully completed a demanding 70-mile mountain fitness challenge on Sunday. The group, consisting of four girls and three boys, undertook the Plus Est En Vous challenge, which combined running, mountain biking, swimming, and canoeing.

The participants completed the entire course in 19 hours, demonstrating endurance and versatility across multiple sports disciplines. Their journey included reaching the summit of Cairn Gorm, where they marked their achievement by raising a flag before returning to the school to conclude the challenge.

The event tested the students’ physical and mental resilience, requiring them to navigate varied terrains and weather conditions throughout the course. This challenge aligns with Gordonstoun School’s emphasis on outdoor education and personal development, encouraging pupils to push their limits while fostering teamwork and determination.
