Seven young goats were reported missing from Christmas Tree Farm in Downe, Kent, following thunderstorms overnight on Monday. The farm, which has been managed by Paul Gubby for 43 years, described the animals as baby goats between three and six weeks old.
According to Gubby, the goats’ mothers were distressed by the disappearance, as the young kids were still reliant on the adult nanny goats for care. The farm has publicly appealed for the return of the animals, referring to their absence as a theft and urging anyone responsible to bring the goats back.
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they are investigating the incident as a reported theft. Further details about potential suspects or motives have not been disclosed. The case remains open as authorities seek to resolve the situation and reunite the goats with their mothers.
