Bangkok police have arrested six South Korean nationals in connection with an alleged online gambling operation following the discovery of a suspicious package earlier this week. The investigation began on Friday when a delivery rider notified authorities after noticing unusual vibrations coming from a parcel addressed to "Mr. Kevin" while en route to the Sathon area.

Upon inspection, officers found the package contained one-time password (OTP) generators, numerous SIM cards, and multiple mobile phones, raising suspicions of potential cybercrime activities. Police subsequently set up surveillance and observed a foreign individual collecting the parcel. The man was detained after he could not produce valid identification.

Further searches conducted on Saturday in the Sathon and Sam Yan neighborhoods resulted in the arrest of six South Korean men. Authorities seized laptops, smartphones, storage devices, and a substantial amount of cash linked to the operation. The suspects now face multiple charges, including illegal gambling, criminal association, and violations of immigration laws.

Officials have not disclosed additional details about the scope of the alleged gambling network or potential connections beyond the arrests. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to determine the full extent of the operation and those involved.
