Shah Rukh Khan has offered new insights into the upcoming film *King*, confirming that the project is nearing completion despite challenges encountered during production. The actor shared details during an online question-and-answer session with fans on the social media platform X.

Khan revealed that injuries sustained while filming impacted the production schedule, but he has since recovered and the film is essentially finished. While fans eagerly await the trailer, Khan urged patience, indicating that promotional material will be released on the makers’ timeline ahead of the film’s scheduled December 24, 2026, theatrical debut.

The actor also discussed his active involvement in the visual effects process, noting that he has spent late nights collaborating with the VFX team to refine his character’s appearance and details. Khan humorously remarked that the artists might eventually exclude him from their workspace due to his persistent presence.

Highlighting the film’s balance, Khan emphasized the importance of its action sequences, which director Anand devoted significant effort to developing. At the same time, he underscored that *King* also incorporates emotional moments and humor, aiming for a well-rounded cinematic experience.

As the film is set to release during a crowded holiday period featuring major Hollywood titles such as *Avengers: Doomsday* and *Dune: Part Three*, Khan was asked whether he felt *King* might be overshadowed. He responded with a lighthearted analogy, likening the film to the flavorful center of a sandwich, asserting it would stand out despite the competition.

Regarding the soundtrack, Khan confirmed that vocalist Arijit Singh is still in the process of finalizing a track for the film. He indicated there was no urgency to rush the music’s completion, allowing Singh the necessary time to perfect it.

*King* marks a notable reunion between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan, who appears alongside a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Anil Kapoor. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, the film is poised to join the lineup of major releases this December.
