EcoWorld's land portfolio in Malaysia spans nearly 5,000 hectares across strategic locations including the Klang Valley, Iskandar Malaysia, Penang, and Negri Sembilan, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM100 billion. Its diverse business model consists of five pillars: Eco Townships, Eco Rise, Eco Hubs, Eco Business Parks, and QUANTUM, allowing the group to cater to residential buyers, businesses, and industrial sectors.
The company’s footprint extends beyond Malaysia through projects under its subsidiary EWI Capital Bhd, which has developed properties in the United Kingdom and Australia. EcoWorld places strong emphasis on sustainability and has been recognized through its inclusion in the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index since 2020 and membership in the United Nations Global Compact for Malaysia, Brunei, and Cambodia. It also has been consistently recognized as one of Malaysia’s top developers in various property awards.
In Selangor, EcoWorld’s journey began with Eco Majestic in Semenyih. This flagship project, launched on a former oil-palm estate, covers 434.3 hectares and is among Malaysia’s largest strata townships. Featuring British colonial architectural influences and eco-friendly design elements such as natural ventilation and abundant green spaces, Eco Majestic includes a central 8.1-hectare park with a lake, jogging trails, and community facilities. The township has received accolades including the Development of the Year award at the 2019 FIABCI Malaysia Property Awards.
Subsequently, EcoWorld expanded with Eco Sanctuary in Teluk Panglima Garang, Eco Grandeur in Puncak Alam, and Eco Ardence in Setia Alam. Of particular note is Eco Grandeur, designed to serve as a focal point for the growing new town of Puncak Alam, which is projected to have a population of 350,000 by 2030. This township integrates residential options ranging from terraced houses to bungalows, alongside a commercial center and a business park supporting regional and international companies.
