Simon Cowell, the television and music executive known for his roles on "Britain’s Got Talent" and "The X Factor," is facing a legal claim over an alleged £75 million business agreement said to have been made on a napkin. The claim was filed by Ian Rosenblatt, a former business adviser who worked with Cowell from 2018.

According to court documents submitted to the High Court, Cowell and Rosenblatt met for dinner in London in October 2022 to resolve a series of disputes. During this meeting, Cowell purportedly proposed a financial arrangement for a deal he was developing, which was reportedly penned and signed on a serviette. The terms included a payment of up to 15 percent on any deal exceeding £75 million.

The agreement was subsequently formalized during a meeting at Cowell’s residence in the Cotswolds in February 2023. Despite this, Rosenblatt claims he has not received any payment under the terms of the deal.

Rosenblatt’s statements also describe Cowell as "unpredictable" and "very difficult to speak to," noting that Cowell refuses to use a mobile phone, complicating communications. Legal representatives for Simon Cowell and his associated productions have yet to respond to the allegations.

The case highlights ongoing tensions and contractual disputes involving high-profile figures in the entertainment industry, and the formal proceedings are expected to further clarify the nature of the agreement and any obligations owed.
