Sir Tom Jones, the 86-year-old Welsh singer, has postponed two concerts on his ongoing Come Gather Round World Tour due to illness. The artist, known for hits such as "It’s Not Unusual" and "Delilah," announced that he was suffering from a severe case of the flu, prompting him to delay his scheduled performances in California.
Jones shared the news on Instagram, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused to his fans. He wrote that he had enjoyed performing during the tour but had been advised by his doctor to reschedule the shows to allow time for recovery. The postponed concerts include a San Diego performance originally set for October 26, now moved to November 3 at The Rady Shell, and a Los Angeles concert shifted to November 4.
The Come Gather Round World Tour began earlier this summer with dates across the United Kingdom and Europe before moving to North America. Prior to the postponements, Sir Tom had completed 20 shows in the United States, performing for audiences across the country.
No further updates have been given regarding additional rescheduling or cancellations, and Sir Tom Jones is expected to resume the tour once his health improves.
