Yasmin Kira launched Sirop after a visit to Quebec inspired her to introduce authentic maple syrup to a wider audience. Unlike typical supermarket varieties, Sirop is derived from a single-source forest and produced in two distinct batches, resulting in two different flavor profiles.

The first batch, known as Amber, offers lighter notes of caramel and toffee, making it well-suited for cooking applications. The second, labeled Dark, presents a more intense taste with woody undertones, designed primarily for direct consumption or pouring over foods. This approach aims to provide consumers with a genuine maple syrup experience, highlighting the product’s natural depth and variation that is often masked in blended supermarket syrups.

Kira’s initiative underscores a growing interest in artisanal and single-origin food products, providing maple syrup enthusiasts with new options beyond conventional offerings. By focusing on the nuances of flavor that stem from the time of tapping and forest source, Sirop seeks to elevate appreciation for this traditional North American sweetener.
