Krish Patel, a 34-year-old from Bolton, completed an extraordinary endurance challenge by skipping nearly 1,000 miles across Britain in 40 days. Beginning his journey at Land’s End on August 18, Patel reached John o’ Groats on September 26, covering a distance roughly equivalent to 40 marathons.

During the feat, Patel spent up to ten hours each day skipping, making it one of the longest continuous skipping challenges of its kind. His efforts were dedicated to raising funds for two charities, 52 Lives and the School of Kindness. By the conclusion of the challenge, he had raised over £11,000 to support these organizations.

Patel’s journey drew attention both for its physical demands and its charitable purpose, highlighting the potential of endurance sports to generate awareness and funding for humanitarian causes.
