Sky has issued an apology after a delay in providing a £200 credit promised to new broadband customers who switched services during a May promotion. The credit was offered to cover leaving fees charged by previous providers.

One customer, identified only as M.P., reported opening a new Sky account and submitting the required documentation, including a final bill from their previous supplier and a bank statement, as part of the switching process. Despite following these steps, the customer said the £200 credit had not been applied to their account. After filing a complaint, the customer said Sky closed the case the following day without resolving the issue.

In response, Sky acknowledged the delay and confirmed the credit has now been applied. The company expressed regret for any inconvenience caused. The incident highlights potential complications customers may face when redeeming promotional offers tied to broadband switching.
