Drawing architectural inspiration from Skywalker Ranch, the home of filmmaker George Lucas, the venue features sweeping wooden curves and mid-century modern design elements. Its spacious terrace offers expansive views of the Los Angeles skyline, creating a scenic backdrop for patrons.

The menu includes several dishes connected to Lucas’s personal tastes, with highlights such as chicken and mushroom crepes and wagyu beef burgers sourced from Lucas’s own ranch. Entrées start at £20, positioning the restaurant as an accessible yet distinctive destination. While it does not offer themed drinks like Star Wars’ iconic blue milk, the grill is anticipated to become a significant dining hotspot amid the area’s ongoing revitalisation.

Exposition Park’s cultural offerings are further set to expand later this year with the planned November opening of the Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center. Located within close proximity to the Skywalker Grill and the Lucas Museum, the new center is poised to complement Lucas’s imaginative creations with authentic aerospace exhibits. The centerpiece is the Endeavour space shuttle, displayed in a full launch configuration complete with its external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters.

Visitors will enter the shuttle bay through an immersive experience featuring a short film directed by JJ Abrams, accompanied by theatrical smoke effects—an approach that blends Hollywood-style presentation with scientific exploration. Together, these venues signal a growing emphasis on cultural and educational attractions in Exposition Park, reinforcing its status as a key hub for both entertainment and learning in Los Angeles.
