Sony announced the expansion of its professional display lineup with the launch of the new BRAVIA Professional Displays BZ-P Series and the Crystal LED UNIFY (ZRL-135SG), a 135-inch direct view LED (dvLED) display. These additions aim to enhance the company’s portfolio with a variety of options tailored for corporate, higher education, retail, transportation, and other professional settings.
The BRAVIA BZ-P Series features 16 redesigned 4K HDR models ranging in size from 43 to 85 inches. The series includes three tiers: the flagship BZ40P, the enhanced BZ35P, and the core BZ30P models. All units employ Sony’s AI-powered XR signal processing technology, which enhances the accuracy and vibrancy of images, text, and details. Brightness levels across the series range from 400 to 700 cd/m². The displays also incorporate Deep Black Non-Glare technology, which reduces reflections and glare while providing wide viewing angles, ensuring clear visibility even in bright environments.
Sony has emphasized ease of installation and integration in the redesign. Certain models comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), while universal chassis designs, uniform narrow bezels, and new center VESA mounting holes provide installation flexibility. Larger models, including the 75- and 85-inch options, feature integrated handles to assist with transport. The series incorporates a System on a Chip (SoC) design that eliminates the need for additional set-top boxes, streamlining digital signage deployment. Coupled with an updated user interface, setup process, and compatibility with Sony’s Device Management Platform, these displays support efficient provisioning and management at scale.
Energy efficiency and sustainability are notable features of the BZ-P Series. The models consume up to 31% less power than their predecessors through a high-efficiency optical system and AI-driven backlight control. The lineup holds Energy Star certification and is pending EPEAT certification, while also increasing the use of Sony’s recycled plastic material SORPLAS™ to 43% by weight. Sony expects the BZ-P Series to become available in summer 2026.
Complementing this series is Sony’s new Crystal LED UNIFY, designed as an all-in-one solution for large-scale displays in corporate and educational environments. The 135-inch dvLED display is pre-assembled, consisting of five display units and a control unit, allowing installation by two people in about one hour without additional electrical work. A slide-out, front-serviceable control unit simplifies maintenance and helps reduce downtime.
Crystal LED UNIFY offers 800 cd/m² brightness and utilizes Anti-Reflection Surface Technology to maintain high visibility and natural color reproduction even under strong ambient light. The display’s ultra-slim bezel design and less than 100 mm wall depth contribute to a sleek, low-profile installation. Its user interface and remote control align with other Sony professional AV products, enabling integrated management within multi-display environments, including compatibility with 4K inputs. Energy efficiency and durability are enhanced through a protective surface coating and design optimized for long-term use in high-traffic spaces.
The Crystal LED UNIFY (ZRL-135SG) features a 1.5 mm pixel pitch and Full HD resolution and is slated for release in early 2027. Together, these two new products broaden Sony’s professional display offerings, providing customers with versatile solutions that balance image quality, installation simplicity, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
