Actress Sophia Bush addressed recent speculation regarding the timeline of her relationship with wife Ashlyn Harris during an appearance on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. Bush clarified that both she and Harris were no longer with their previous spouses when their relationship began, noting that each had filed for divorce and were living separately at the time of their first date in October 2023.

Bush, known for her role on the television series "One Tree Hill," acknowledged on the podcast that she wished their relationship had started "six weeks later." Harris, a professional soccer player and former member of the United States Women’s National Team, had filed for divorce from fellow USWNT player Ali Krieger in September 2023. Bush separated from her husband of 13 months in August 2023.

“Two people who had filed for divorce and lived in separate residences from their exes went to dinner,” Bush said, directly addressing rumors that suggested otherwise. She added, “Everybody wishes they could’ve done a million things differently,” but emphasized that she cannot change others’ perceptions or misinformation surrounding their story.
