The Third Hamba Indian Mango Exhibition and Its Products is set to open on June 18 at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar. The event, organised by the Celebrations Committee of the Private Engineering Office in collaboration with the Indian embassy in Qatar, will run for 10 days until June 27. It is expected to draw a larger crowd than previous years, continuing to build on its reputation as a significant seasonal specialty event in the region.

The exhibition has gained momentum since its launch, with the second edition attracting over 114,400 visitors and selling more than 130,000 kilograms of mangoes. Attendees were also introduced to more than 54 varieties of Indian mangoes and a broad selection of mango-related products such as pickles, sweets, and traditional foods, which were well received.

This year’s edition will be the largest to date, featuring over 35 major Indian companies—an increase from 30 participants in the previous exhibition. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore new mango varieties entering the Qatari market for the first time, as well as innovative culinary offerings and food products. The event also serves as a platform for Indian companies to showcase and promote their products to consumers in Qatar and the wider region.

Khalid Saif al-Suwaidi, general supervisor of the exhibition, expressed pride in the event’s continued growth. He noted that the exhibition was initially intended as a one-time occasion but grew into an annual event due to strong public response and success. Al-Suwaidi anticipates this year’s exhibition will surpass past records in both visitor numbers and sales, attributing this potential to the increased number of participating companies, the expanded product range, and the introduction of new mango varieties alongside traditional Indian foods.

A fully air-conditioned 3,000-square-meter tent has been erected at the Eastern Square to provide a comfortable environment for visitors and exhibitors. The exhibition will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. throughout its run.
