Dacia has introduced an updated version of its Spring electric vehicle, enhancing both its range and size. The new model features a larger battery, enabling it to travel up to 155 miles on a single charge, an increase from the 140-mile range offered by the current version, which is the most affordable car in the UK market at £14,995.

Powering the Spring is a 60kW electric motor, allowing the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 12 seconds and reach a top speed of 81 mph. The second-generation Spring has grown in dimensions, measuring 18 cm wider and 15 cm longer than its predecessor. Customers can choose from four available exterior colors.

Inside, the updated Spring comes with a redesigned cockpit that includes a new 7-inch driver instrument panel and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen, available starting with the Journey trim level. Storage capacity has also been improved, with the boot size expanding to 337 liters. Additionally, an optional extra includes an 18-liter trunk compartment for further cargo flexibility.

While Dacia has not yet announced pricing details for the new Spring, these are expected to be released in the near future.
