Tottenham Hotspur have secured the signing of Omar Marmoush from Manchester City in a season-long loan deal that includes an obligation to make the transfer permanent next summer. The move marks Tottenham’s eighth addition during a summer transfer window characterized by a major squad overhaul under manager Roberto De Zerbi.

De Zerbi, who took charge in March and successfully guided the club away from relegation, has been empowered with a transfer budget exceeding £300 million to rebuild the team ahead of the 2026-27 season. Following the high-profile acquisition of Savio for a reported £85 million, Tottenham completed their double deal involving Manchester City with Marmoush set to join permanently for a fee of £60 million next year.

Marmoush, who joined Manchester City in 2025 after impressing at Eintracht Frankfurt, where he emerged as a prolific forward, expressed enthusiasm about the move.
