A man in his 20s was found stabbed in a city centre car park in Newcastle in the early hours of Tuesday. Police discovered the injured victim on Morden Street at approximately 12:10 a.m. and noted that his wounds appeared consistent with an assault involving a bladed weapon.

Authorities believe the stabbing occurred during a robbery on nearby Blackett Street shortly before the victim was found. The man was promptly taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

Investigators suspect that the victim and the attacker are acquainted. Northumbria Police have appealed to the public for any information related to the incident, asking anyone with details to come forward and reference case number NP-20260714-0004.
