Singer-songwriter Stanley Bloom has released a charity single in tribute to his late mother, actress Dame Penelope Keith, who passed away in June at the age of 86. The upbeat summer track, titled "Keep Smiling," was co-written and recorded with his collaborator Ali Duff. Proceeds from the song will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support and Poppyscotland, organizations dedicated to supporting cancer patients and Army veterans along with their families.

Stanley Bloom, whose birth name is Paul, described the song as a reflection of his mother’s positive outlook on life. “It’s a nod to Mum and her look on life. She was always positive and smiling,” he said. Dame Penelope Keith was best known for her roles in British television classics such as "The Good Life" and "To the Manor Born."

The track made its live debut over the weekend at the Belladrum Festival near Inverness, Scotland. Stanley is also scheduled to perform at Carfest, an event held at Silverstone, on August 30. Fans and supporters can follow his updates on social media under the handle @stanleybloommusic.
