The Starrett-Lehigh Building continues to serve as a key venue for New York Fashion Week events, reaffirming its status as a central hub in the city’s fashion scene. Owned by RXR Realty since 2011, the landmark structure has recently hosted or is scheduled to showcase a range of designers and brands, including Shoppe Object, Brand Assembly, and the Affordable Art Fair.

In the upcoming days, the building will present shows by notable labels such as Public School, Tibi, Magda Butrym, and 7 for All Mankind, reflecting its ongoing role in promoting both established and emerging fashion houses. These events follow a significant expansion by Ralph Lauren, which increased its office and showroom space within the building to 280,000 square feet, up from 22,000 square feet, underscoring the venue’s importance to the fashion industry.

The 12-story, 2.3-million-square-foot facility is often described as a “horizontal skyscraper” due to its expansive footprint. Since acquiring the property, RXR has undertaken extensive renovations, including the replacement of approximately 5,000 ribbon-style windows and other major upgrades designed to modernize the space while preserving its architectural character.

Enhancing the building’s appeal are amenities such as two well-regarded restaurants—Marcus Samuelsson’s Hav & Mar on the ground floor and the Yacht Club roof deck by Crew—along with the Olly Olly Market, offering complementary lifestyle and dining options that contribute to the venue's vibrant atmosphere during fashion week and beyond.
