The Moseley, a new fine dining establishment, has opened on the ninth floor of the recently completed South Station Tower at 680 Atlantic Avenue. Operated by Episcope hospitality, a Chicago-based firm led by David Morton, a member of the Morton’s steakhouse family, the restaurant aims to offer a blend of casual fine dining with a welcoming atmosphere.
Spanning nearly 10,000 square feet and accommodating over 200 guests, The Moseley serves lunch, dinner, and private events. Morton described the restaurant as “stately, but not stuffy,” noting that it combines a hotel-like ambience with warmth, professionalism, and a casual vibe. The dining room is designed to be accessible both for those dropping in casually, even in jeans and a T-shirt, and for large gatherings.
The menu focuses on straightforward yet refined dishes such as pan-roasted chicken, filet mignon, cavatelli Bolognese, and miso black cod. Morton highlighted the tuna hamachi poke bowl as one of his personal favorites. The goal, he said, is to create a reliable day-to-day destination for commuters and locals around the busy transportation hub.
Morton expressed hope that The Moseley will become a familiar and trusted option, envisioning a future where patrons see the restaurant as a dependable choice for regular dining. "In 2026, success looks like: ‘Let’s just go to the Moseley because it’s always good. It’s always predictable. They know us; we know them,’” he said.
The Moseley is open weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., offering a new dining option within the expanding South Station Tower complex.
