Former England footballer Raheem Sterling has admitted to driving dangerously in connection with a single-vehicle crash involving his Lamborghini Urus on the M3 motorway in May. The 31-year-old, originally from Berkshire, made the admission during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court.

In addition to the dangerous driving charge, Sterling also pleaded guilty to possession of six nitrous oxide canisters, which are classified as a class C drug when used for inhalation, and to failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Sterling, who is currently without a club, has played for Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea during his career. He earned 82 caps for England and scored 20 goals for the national team.

He is scheduled to appear again in court on November 25 as the case progresses.
