A 65-year-old woman was assaulted while walking with her grandchild in Flushing, Queens, earlier this week in an unprovoked attack, according to law enforcement officials. The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon on Kissena Boulevard when the victim was pushing a stroller. Without any apparent warning or verbal exchange, a stranger struck her in the face.

The victim sustained redness and swelling as a result of the blow, police reported. The suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large. Authorities are currently investigating the case and have not released any further details about the attacker. No arrests have been made as of now.
