Craig Revel Horwood, a judge on the television show Strictly Come Dancing, has spoken publicly about a traumatic incident he experienced while on holiday in Madrid. During an appearance on his Judgemental podcast, the 61-year-old recounted being attacked and injured by muggers.

He described how assailants slashed him with a razor blade, leaving a significant burn mark, in the course of forcibly removing a necklace from around his neck. The attack occurred during a vacation in Spain, though he did not specify the exact date of the incident.

Revel Horwood also reflected on another difficult experience from his youth. In 1988, when he was 23 years old, he endured a strip search conducted by authorities who suspected him of drug possession. He acknowledged that at the time, he appeared disheveled and admitted to personal struggles.

While revealing these past hardships, Revel Horwood framed the events as part of his journey, sharing candid details about moments that challenged him physically and emotionally.
