Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd is seeing strong interest in its upcoming township project, Bandar Seri Impian 2 (BSI2), located in Kluang. More than 200 potential homebuyers attended an exclusive preview event ahead of the township’s planned launch later this month, signaling positive market reception, the property developer said.

The official launch of BSI2 is tentatively set for the end of September 2026. Chai Keng Wai, co-chief executive officer of property development and commercial at Matrix Concepts, noted that the level of engagement illustrates the project’s broad appeal among prospective homeowners in Kluang and neighbouring areas.

BSI2 stands out as Kluang’s first English-inspired township, a distinctive feature that has attracted substantial interest. During the two-day preview, the developer was able to engage directly with families and provide detailed insights into the township’s development plan.

Covering an area of approximately 309 acres, BSI2 currently encompasses over 7,000 completed residential units, with an estimated population of around 25,000 residents. The first residential phase, known as Mayfair, will offer 213 landed homes, consisting of both single-storey and double-storey terrace houses designed to meet a variety of household needs, lifestyle preferences, and stages of homeownership.

Responding to the positive feedback received, Matrix Concepts has begun reassessing its planning and preparation schedules for subsequent project phases to accelerate development in line with market demand. The company’s proactive approach aims to maintain momentum and ensure timely delivery as the township expands.

The new township forms part of Matrix Concepts’ broader strategy to meet growing housing demand in the region, leveraging the appeal of thematic township concepts to attract homebuyers. The emphasis on a distinctive English-inspired design marks a notable addition to Kluang’s residential landscape.
