The Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, attended the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture and Agrotourism Show (Maha) 2026 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang in Serdang yesterday. He was accompanied by the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim, and Raja Kecil Besar Raja Azlan Muzzaffar Shah during the visit.

Upon arrival, Sultan Nazrin was welcomed by Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad, Perak state assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Mohammad Zahir Abdul Khalid, and the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry’s secretary-general, Datuk Seri Isham Ishak.

During the visit, the royal entourage toured the Perak Pavilion, which featured a range of products from the state. They also engaged with exhibitors and entrepreneurs present at the event. Additionally, the group visited the Laman Padi and Laman Herba sections of the exhibition.

Maha 2026 marks the 101st edition of the biennial event, which runs for ten days from August 28 to September 6. The show serves as Malaysia’s principal agricultural platform, bringing together stakeholders from the industry, government bodies, entrepreneurs, and academic institutions. Its focus is on showcasing innovations, technological advancements, and business opportunities within the agrifood sector.
