SUHAR — The Summer Programme for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in Al Batinah North Governorate officially began this week at the Liwa Science and Innovation Center. Organized by the Directorate-General of Education in Al Batinah North in cooperation with the Office of the Governor, the initiative is part of the broader “Our Summer is Entrepreneurship and Creativity” series of summer centers.
The programme gathers around 125 male and female students and will run through July 2. It aims to equip participants with skills relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution through a variety of hands-on training workshops. These sessions cover areas such as programming, educational robotics, drone technology, 3D design, and scientific research.
Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed al Saadi, head of the Innovation and Scientific Olympiad Department at the Directorate-General of Education, highlighted the programme’s focus on practical skill development to prepare students for emerging technological trends and innovation-driven careers. The initiative reflects regional efforts to foster entrepreneurship and creativity among youth in alignment with ongoing technological advancements.
