Superlon Holdings Bhd has named Jeremy Liu as its new chief executive officer, effective immediately. The appointment was disclosed in a filing to Bursa Malaysia on Friday.
Jeremy Liu, 40, has been with Superlon since February 2010, initially joining the group as assistant research and development manager. He succeeds his mother, Jessica Hsiu-Lin Liu, who stepped down amid an internal reorganization within the company.
Superlon, a manufacturer specializing in rubber insulation products, also reported its financial results for the first quarter ending July 31, 2026. The company recorded a net profit of RM5.48 million, up from RM3.08 million in the same period last year. Revenue increased to RM39.23 million from RM33.29 million year-on-year.
In addition, Superlon’s gross profit margin improved significantly, rising from 25.8% to 34.2% compared to the previous corresponding quarter. The company attributed these gains partly to operational efficiencies and favorable market conditions.
The leadership transition and positive financial performance come as Superlon continues to position itself for growth in the competitive rubber insulation industry.
