A suspect described as resembling pop singer Justin Bieber remains at large following an attempted abduction in Hayward, California, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Jackson Street and Soto Road.
According to police reports, a woman was walking northbound on Soto Road when the man approached and suddenly grabbed her, dragging her approximately 15 to 20 feet. The woman reportedly screamed and struggled to break free during the attack.
Two nearby witnesses intervened promptly, compelling the suspect to release the woman before fleeing the scene. Authorities continue to search for the individual, who has not yet been identified.
Police have urged anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts or the incident to come forward as the investigation remains ongoing. The motive behind the attempted abduction is currently unclear.
