Polestar has unveiled a concept vehicle that offers a glimpse into the future design direction of its upcoming models, specifically the second and seventh vehicles in its lineup. The Formula 2030 Concept, scheduled for official reveal in October, presents a wide and low-profile design featuring the brand’s signature Dual Blade lighting. The vehicle is expected to be fully electric, consistent with Polestar’s focus on electric mobility.

Philipp Römers, Polestar’s head of design, described the concept as a “bold evolution” that maintains clear brand identity while pushing the company’s aesthetic forward. The Formula 2030 Concept aims to provide a preview of what the next-generation Polestar 7 will embody when it launches in 2028.

Set to compete in the compact SUV segment, the Polestar 7 will face competition from established electric models such as the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX1, and Audi Q4 e-tron. According to company patterns, the model is expected to be offered with both single and dual-motor configurations, though Polestar has yet to release detailed specifications.
