A 19-year-old man died after an incident at Ystradfellte waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons National Park, mid-Wales, on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services were alerted at approximately 2:15 p.m. following reports that the young walker had encountered difficulties in fast-moving water while attempting to cool off at the popular natural site.
Central Beacons Mountain Rescue responded to the scene, where the individual was subsequently recovered from the water. Despite efforts by first responders, the man was pronounced deceased at the location. His identity has not been released.
