Ailsa Erskine, cousin of tennis players Sir Andy and Jamie Murray, has secured a leading role in a new production of "Alice in Wonderland" staged in London’s West End. Erskine will make her debut portraying the character Alice in shows at Riverside Studios and Soho Theatre.

Erskine dedicated her upcoming performances to the memory of her grandparents, Roy and Shirley Erskine from Dunblane, who passed away within weeks of each other earlier this year. She expressed that the role holds special significance given this personal loss.

The connection between the actress and the Murray family is reinforced through their shared family ties—Judy Murray, mother to Andy and Jamie, is Erskine’s aunt. The casting adds another dimension to a family already prominent in the public eye for their achievements in professional tennis.
