Serbian tennis player Stefan Milićević has been banned from competing for 24 years following accusations of match-fixing and involvement in a broader corrupt network within the sport. The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced the sanction on Thursday, citing multiple violations occurring between 2022 and 2024.

According to the ITIA, the 29-year-old Milićević was found guilty of fixing six matches, including five in which he participated, and attempting to manipulate the outcomes of an additional six matches. The agency also accused him of recruiting several professional players to join the corrupt network, which contributed to further instances of match manipulation during the same period.

Milićević, whose highest recorded singles ATP ranking was 1,338, will remain banned from all professional tennis activities until 2050 as a result of the ruling. The ITIA did not disclose specific details about the matches involved or identify any other individuals implicated in the investigation.

This case underscores continued concerns within professional tennis regarding corruption and the integrity of competition, as governing bodies seek to uphold fairness and transparency in the sport.
