A trial is underway involving a well-known YouTuber accused of multiple sexual offences, including rape and sexual assault. The proceedings took place recently, with testimony describing one alleged incident in detail.
According to the testimony, the alleged attack occurred in a hotel room where the accuser said she was physically overpowered and unable to escape. In a police interview recorded in 2023 and presented during the trial, the woman recounted feeling trapped and struggling to breathe under the weight of the accused. She stated that she pleaded with him to stop, saying: “Get off me, please stop, it hurts.” She maintained that the accused was aware she did not consent and showed no regard for her refusal, continuing the act regardless.
The accuser described that during the assault, the man told her, “It’s fun, it’s just fun, it’s normal,” and later urged her to “enjoy it,” as cross-examination revealed. She detailed the physical pain and psychological distress she experienced, reporting that she shut her eyes to avoid watching the assault and felt like “a zombie on the bed.” The woman testified that after the alleged rape—said to have lasted between five and ten minutes—the accused dressed casually and attempted to leave the room as if nothing had happened. He reportedly left a note with his email address, which she subsequently discarded. The jury heard the accuser’s interpretation that he believed himself to be highly desirable and was seeking further contact.
In the hours following the alleged attack, the woman said she spent much of the night in the bathroom washing herself and reported experiencing nightmares and thoughts of self-harm. The accused purportedly reassured her that he regularly tested for sexually transmitted infections. The next day, the accuser said she was in such pain she missed her train, as she was unable to lift her luggage.
During the trial, the prosecution described the accused as a “ruthless, calculated and manipulative” predator who targeted multiple women. The defendant, currently out on bail, attended court without his wife, Laura, and appeared attentive throughout the day. Wearing his hair in a man bun, he has denied all charges, which include three counts of rape, three sexual assaults, and one indecent assault.
The trial remains ongoing.
